PSG ‘not worried’ about Chelsea return

Paris Saint-Germain Ezequiel Lavezzi has said he and his teammates are not concerned about the prospect of a Chelsea comeback in their Champions League tie. The Ligue 1 champions beat the 2012 Champions League winners 3-1 on Wednesday night with goals from Lavezzi, a David Luiz own goal and a late Javier Pastore strike. Eden Hazard scored a penalty for the Blues but Lavezzi has said PSG will be calm at Stamford Bridge.“[Pastore’s] goal at the end was very important. We’ll go to London for the return leg with a little more peace of mind,” Lavezzi said. “I’m not worried about Chelsea pulling off a repeat of their comeback against Napoli because this is a completely different team and we hope to go through.” Lavezzi’s teammate, Blaise Matuidi, added to the praise for Pastore’s goal and believes PSG’s firepower will be enough to see off any Chelsea comeback. “Pastore’s great strike at the end of the game gave us a huge boost,” Matuidi said. “That’s given us an even bigger advantage and a more comfortable cushion in the tie,” he continued. “We have an excellent two-goal advantage, but Chelsea are very strong at home and they were also able to get an away goal.” “We’ll go to London with the intention of not conceding a goal, but we’ll still have to stay faithful to our philosophy of playing. We know we can score at any moment.”
