Surprisingly Thailand is the most happiest nation in Southeast Asia according to research

According to the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network's 2013 World Happiness Report, surprisingly Thailand is the most happiest nation in Southeast Asia. It could be a surprised to the wealthy nation like Singapore.

Singapore could be the wealthiest nation in Southeast Asia, but in term of happiness, it might be true. The simple logical reason can be applied here, wealth or money doesn't represent happiness. In term of wealthiness, Thailand is in the so so category among the Southeast Asia nations.

(2) Pattaya City, Thailand

Pattaya is one of the city of Thailand and it is in the Chonburi province. It is not far from Bangkok, just about 100 kilometers or about 4 hours drive. Pattaya is the most famous tourist attraction city in Thailand. It is a self governing city. There are quite many different people around the world enjoying their time there. You can get almost everything there. The night walking street is full of entertaining and you have police in different nationalities. Additionally, it has many small islands which you can enjoy your time away from the busy life as well. You will sure find yourself having a good time there.

Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand

Chiang Mai is the second capital of Thailand. It is a ten hours drive from Bangkok if you are taking the coach from Mochit Bus terminal. Chiang Mai is best known for its best sightseeing of nature. It also has one of the best weather in Thailand. The famous season is winter. It has many tourist attraction sites. But in winter, you might consider going to the highest mountain of Thailand, Doi Inthanoon. The weather in winter is fantastic and the environment is quiet and ease. Tourists usually stay over there enjoying the time. It is not so crowded like in Bangkok or Pattaya or Phuket. If you want know how it is, it is best you put it in your list of a must go place!

Ayuthaya city is in the province of Ayuthaya. It is one of the historical city of Thailand. It has the old structure of those days palace. It used to called Siam and it was the second capital after Sukhothai in those days. The Siam kingdom was destroyed by the Burmese army and it was collapsed. The destruction is recognized internationally as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You might want to go and see by yourself how the city was destroyed and maybe take some amazing picture of those historical arts.

(5) Kanchanaburi province, Thailand

Kanchanaburi is located in the west of Thailand. One of the best attraction is the Tiger Temple where you can see tigers are living with the monks and you can actually play with those tigers and take picture. You will rarely see and experience this in your life. It is also well known for its best waterfalls, elephant ride, and many others. Additionally, it was the town which Japanese took over when they tried to colonized Asia those days. One of the tragedies of these was the railway called "Death Railway" which Japanese built during that time connecting Thailand and Burma. They planned to use that for their military equipments and food transportation. It is well-known because of many lives had been taken for that bridge and railway. So, this should be definitely in your list of visit!

Breaking news: Thailand Prime Minister Yingluck is dismissed from office by Constitutional Court

Breaking news: Thailand Prime Minister Yingluck is dismissed from office by Constitutional Court today at noon. Along with her 9 colleagues from the senate were also dismissed. But the court didn't appoint new PM because it's not in its jurisdiction.

The The 10 individuals whose caretaker status has ended are: Yingluck, Surapong Tovichakchaikul, Chalerm Yubamrung, Kittiratt Na-Ranong, Santi Prompat, Anudith Nakornthap, Siriwat Kachornprasart, Pracha Promnok, Yutthasak Sasriprapa and Plodprasop Suraswadi.

Yingluck was elected and took over the office since August 10, 2011. The Constitutional Court ruled that PM Yingluck abused her power in transferring Mr. Thawil, the chief of National Security Council.

Yingluck testify that she didn't do any wrong doing. And the transfer didn't benefit her family.

She said,"She has the authority to transfer any official legally as Prime Minister."

The earthquake that has just shaken the northern Thailand has cause quite a lot of damages even though there hasn't been report about many casualties. That was one of the biggest quake. Its impact reached out to the neighboring country Myanmar. Even people from the Yangon, Myanmar old capital city, felt the quake.

But damages are largely occurring in Thailand especially in northern parts such as Chiang Rai, Mae Sai, Chaing Mai.

The photos above shows that the damages have been quite huge to the Thailand. This earthquake really makes people around the region scare. Hopefully, it stops happening again.

Over 5 times earthquake in northern Thailand with many road and building damages

Thailand is really rare to have an earthquake, since yesterday evening an earthquake has shaken the northern Thailand, especially Chiang Rai province. There many been about 5 times after shock in 24 hours. People are still really afraid of the situation. They are in 100% cautious about what might happen again.

Road and buildings have been damaged. So far, there has been reported one death, an 85 old grandma was hit by the collapse building. Apart from that, there hasn't been any report of other casualties.
